So I tried to use the suggestions this time I've added shading for the background and character and proper light and shadow work, at least I tried that is I think I succeed pretty well for the most part, I am willing to make small changes at the moment. Also it's not fire exactly but more so energy that dissolves that the dragon released. This time I did do the background first then I drew the character I tried to make like he was part of the background rather then just sitting in it.

Anyways I look forward to more review if you'd guys like. Thanks. I could have added more plants which I still might later on as I realized afterwards I did only added one. The canyon rocks I had the most fun with. And I did enjoy this exercise thanks. Completed Version: fav.me/db4p6rb
