Due to [species]'s sweet scent and calm demeanor, it can easily attract other organisms to it with little to no difficulty. The iris shape on the top is similar to a spotlight, if the prey is caught in the light of the light, then the creature will track them for devouring.

It is relentless, and it will stop at nothing in order to achieve the meal that it desires.

Its innards are highly acidic and will then quickly break down its prey, and sometimes it is seen trying to escape through the iris shaped organism.

More often than not it is a little too late.

Any creature that does manage to crawl their way out of the species' "stomach" shortly thereafter expires before being consumed again.
