If you don't mind me asking, did you purposefully have Hawke with no weapon? Considering you can choose what class you play as.

An absolutely gorgeous piece. I think you captured the characters spirits incredibly well. Especially Anders and burden/conflict of his power, Merrill's serenity even while channeling the power of blood, Isabella's freedom and playfulness, and Aveline's strength and resolve. I also like how the twins have their backs to us. I imagine it symbolizes their disconnect, both ideological and physical, from us(meaning Hawke as that is how we percive the game.) If I have any problems with it it's Varric. He looks like he is holding Bianca away from him when he usually cradles her/it close to him. It probably would be less off putting if you didn't do such an excellent job with all the others.

Awesome pic. God i hated anders and merril in this game. Anders whines too much about the freaking templars and merril though cute is so stupid selfish.
I mean in DAO you had some pretty awesome mages. Wynne, morrigan, Jowan though a blood mage stil a goof guy. But in DA2 the only sane mage was Bethany and she gets either shipped to the circle or the wardens.

Merrill isn't selfish, if you get full friendship with her or romance her she will side with you even if you vote to side with the templars, if that's selfish then I'm a dutchman

I call her selfish because she doenst care about her clann at all.
She says she is repairing that mirror for he people to get a piece that was forgotten. But the is no1 wanten that. They al hated the mirror for taking away tamlim and mahariel and wanted nothing to do with it. The keeper the on who's job it is to record any information about theire history rejected the mirror. she told Merril time and time again that what the mirror offered wast worth what she was giving up. Her soul! she only wanted Merril who she saw as a daughter to return.
one more example and i'm done XD.
when the keeper dies you can choose to either attack and kill the hunters or take the blame for it all and promise that merill never returns.
If you choose the latter (like I did) you gain rivalry points.
In other words she gives you friendpoints if you kill the hunters of the clan with that dooming the rest of the clan(since there are so litle hunter left the rest will starve). In what way is that caring for her people?
I believe Merill wast doing it for Tamlen and Mahariel in the beginning. but in the end she was doing it to proof herself right it wasnt for the clan or mahariel and tamlen. Thats why i'm calling her selfish she's a litle kid that doesnt want to admit she was wrong.

Agreed, unfortunately for me most characters in DA2 were exaggerated and dramatic blah btw I'm pretty sure everybody was whining about something XD except Varrik
