Seriously, I don't understand the hype.And judging from this pic, they don't seem to be happy that people keep splashing water on them.
Does this mean I'm anti wet manes? Of course not, I just don't get it.
Nor do I get the whole socks thing either.

Wet manes are pretty much like pone in socks, something that ppl like in saucy images.

The whole point of wet mane is was joke concept that if done right it gives that sultry seductive look to them. It just screams "hey baby let's have some fun!"
Same with the socks, it extenuates the legs much like sexy stockings on a real girl. Another reason for the socks is actually also a reference to G3 MLP believe it or not. Because there was a pony name Minty who had a whole Christmas episode special about her love of socks and wanting give them as X-mas gifts (long story short she kind of screwed up and tried to play santa.)Ā What made this stand out was the fact that Minty actually had you know effort put into making her an actual character: a clumsy OCD pony who has a passion for socks.

I don't find it appealing as a fetish like some do. I'm not aroused by ponies for starters, but I think it looks neat and kind of addorable. I do find wet hair hot on actual girls tho, also thigh high socks. Not sure why... and I wonder should I be telling all of DA about that.
