Description Doctor Who Companions: Victoria Waterfield

Another Second Doctor companion. Never saw any episodes with her in them, but she looked like a classy lady. All I know is that Jamie loved her, and she left the group and it was heartbreaking. Ship ship ship...

I wasn't sure what costume to put her in. A lot of the screencaps I saw had some awesome outfits, but I decided her original dress was most appropriate. It's also really hard to color these early companions when they were from black and white episodes, but I made her dress blue. Not sure if that's the right color. Oh well.

I do not own Doctor Who.

I DID meet Deborah Watling once at this low key convention which lasted over a weekend. I actually had a stayover room and Saturday night I decided not to attend the musical event in the main hall so I made my way back to my Quarters and passed a side room next to a little bar. An oddly familiar Lady was sitting ALONE in the room. Yep! It was Debbie herself! I won't go into everything we talked about but how many Doctor Who fans can say they've been wished "Good Night, See You Tomorrow," by a legend? God I WAS happy once!

Aww, precious Victoria. Her season suffered a LOT from the BBC's burninating of stuff, but there are a few episodes in there (and one complete serial, at least) where you get to see her in action. She was totally awesome (though I'm probably one of the few people in the universe who doesn't ship her with Jamie at all - though I do BFF-ship her with a Yeti, based primarily on actress Deborah Watling's commentary on The Abominable Snowmen)

My shipping is only based on what I've read through researching the character. The closest I ever got to seeing an episode with her in it was the audio of the episode where she departed. I think the scene audio of her conversation with Jamie is on YouTube. It's a shame for the lost episodes, though.

It really is, though I am forever and ever and ever grateful for the recons, at least. I'll not say more about what I do or don't ship, though, as I don't want to influence you prematurely, before you've seen more of Two's TARDIS teams in action *nods*

I liked Zoe and Jamie together, because they're such opposites, but since they bickered a lot in the Mind Robber (only story I've seen of the Second's) it felt more like a cute friendship. I don't know. I'd have to watch more later.

Yeah, Jamie and Zoe are like bizarre, time-displaced siblings almost, to me. There's something really sweet about these two people coming from such disparate ideologies and yet becoming such good friends, in spite of their differences. And yeah, watch more. I encourage the heck out of that. *nods*
