Anotha one! Trying to get to where I can draw a bit faster and still keep a decent amount of quality we're getting there

this team is a different one than his ref sheet, as I honestly felt like it needed updated. His old one was based off of what I had for him in the ARPG he was in. Some stayed, and some were replaced! I also maybe wanted to keep it to blues and greens too x)
I'm in a typing mood so I'll give a brief summary of each mon. Like me Joshua sucks at naming things

Tropius - Tropico - Male
Found injured while Joshua was doing some field research in Hoenn. He nursed Tropico back to health and the Tropius seemed to want to travel with Joshua. He cannot fly do to the damage to one of his grass wings which unfortunately cannot grow back properly. Due to his past he doesn't like most people.

Elgyem - Cosmo - Male
A gift from his mother for his 5th birthday. Cosmo is his best buddy, and extremely loyal and helpful. Since Joshua tends to forget things or smiply slacks off, Cosmo tries his best to keep Joshua in line. Has no interest in evolving or battling and is never in his Pokeball unless absolutely necessary. Follows Joshua everywhere and they are very rarely apart.

Spinarak - Lum - Female
Found hiding in a Lum berry bush Joshua was unfortunate enough to try to grab some berries from. He was bitten, but the little gal seemed to take a liking to him despite the initial bad impression. He wasn't too happy at first but she is quite cute. She usually hangs around his apartment and is rarely in a Pokeball.

Armaldo - Blue - Male
Given as gift from Benjamin in the form of a Claw Fossil. Joshua decided to have him brought to life. He's one of the only two Pokemon Joshua uses in battles if he has to. He's also incredibly friendly and loves to be around people and see what they're doing, but overall size and big claws make it a bit awkward.

Heracross - Artemis - Female
Joshua's most dependable battler and most expensive Pokmeon to feed. She's always hungry, and always wants fresh honey and berries. She was found stealing bait left out for one of Joshua's projects and decided to invite herself to his team since he was the provider of the good food. She can mega evolve if Joshua's in a pinch. She's a food aggressive bitch at times. (I'm aware artemis most likely does not exist in this universe it's just a nod to the ARPG heracross he had back when)

Ditto - Mimic - Genderless
While Joshua was traveling, he caught a glimpse of Mimic and tracked it down over the course of three days desperate to document this weird little blue Ditto. Mimic seemed to enjoy the chase, and had a lot of fun disguising itself to throw Joshua off. Joshua eventually did catch up, and managed to catch it, but felt bad about it afterwards and gave the Ditto the option to leave. Luckily for Joshua it decided to stay, and now he has a Pokemon that can transform into just about anything, which makes it a prefect model for Joshua's drawings.
