Act 1: The Bells & The white Pearls

Ringing are the bells for the return of the fallen
Bright and white are the pearls on the gates
Sealed and forbidden they were for the darkened
For the lost beast full of pain and full of hate

Lost in the haze of limbo he sees the shining white pearls
Lost in the haze of limbo he hears the bells of heaven

Obscure is his black heart and broken he is within
Obscure is his mind, mutilated by the flames of hell

Ringing are the bells for the return of the fallen
Bright and white are the pearls on the gates
Now opened and unsealed they are for the broken
For the found beast shedding his pain and his hate

Act 2: The Devine Knight & The Fallen Beast

Lucifer

The lights are blinding, casting away my sins and all I admit
The warmth beyond the gates is brutal upon my dark heart
Aeons ago I have felt that strength before I fell into the Pit
Here again the lights move me within and my shell fall apart

Obscure is my black heart and broken I am within
Obscure is my mind, mutilated by the fires of my domain

My infernal domain that I have abandoned to run after you
To run after what we had and what we shared as mortals
I see you now with wings as bright as the lights behind you
As divine as I once was, golden as my wings before the fall

Lost in shame I see your light shining in the haze
Lost without you I stand in front of the pearly gates

The divine knight

There you are my beast, the one who betrayed all my desires
Even now I remember our love, the pains I endured in your fires
The bells of heaven rang for me and I rose above and far away
But here you stand before me and the father you have betrayed

Obscure is your black heart and broken is our love
Obscure is your mind, what is this dark comedy?

I don’t know why the Father sent me to welcome you, my beast
Despite my enmity, my broken heart still beats for you, my beast
I think of fighting you with all my might and stop you, my beast
But as I touch you once more, my strength fades. I love you my beast

Lost within myself I remember our deep love
Lost in your arms, I embrace this dark comedy

Act 3: Grief

The Father

I lost my son to the depths of anger
I lost the trust of my son Lucifer
I’ve created mortal souls with my light
I loved them despite all their blights
My son astounded, he turned dark
Casted down to hell, he became monarch
But soon I grieve for my son
And I want it all undone
So I’ve made another soul just for him
To give him the love he needs
I sent a knight to bring him back to me
And so I’ve played this divine comedy

Act 4: The Return

The angel fell down in disgrace and lost his wings
The angel fell down and became the profane king
Locked in Eternity, he preyed on the damned
For an eternity he yearned for love, turned insane

The bells rang when he left
The white pearls weren’t bright

The traveling knight went to him tainted by fire and pain
The traveling knight lost his heart to the king of shame
The dark road was long but he fought bravely
The long road led him to darkness and sin

The bells rang for him when he rose
The white pearls were radiant and holy

Now they both returned in the arms of the Father
The bells are ringing
Now they became divine lovers
Beyond the pearls
