Name: Gineviere "Gine" Belmont

Species: Dhampir

Age: 29

Background: Gineviere Belmont, the last descendant of the Belmont clan of vampire hunters. Born as a dhampir due to the curse that was cast many years ago by powerful lord, Gineviere hates what she is and what her clan was converted to. Her hatred is not directed towards vampires themselves, but to their thirst for blood. Even though she's capable of sustaining herself with normal food, once in a month she must drink blood. And only human blood can satisfy her thirst. However, that is the only weakness she carries, for she's a formidable warrior and a master swords-woman. 8 years ago, Gine had enrolled herself in the Diablo Cross academy in order to become stronger to achieve the goal that no one in her family has been capable of: Defeating the one who transformed the Belmonts into half-vampires. 5 years prior to the present, she had graduated from the academy and, having trained herself to exhaustiveness, Gineviere had the opportunity of confronting that man. However, and much to her dismay, the battle was lost even before it began, since thanks to the curse she was nothing but a mere rag doll to that man. He defeated and humiliated her, harming her pride and breaking her confidence. 2 years after, Gine was not even the shadow of her former self. She had felt into depression, to the point she had renounced to her sword and her family's legacy. But one day, something ignited the flame she once carried deep within her spirit. For long she had heard of those who called themselves Depraved Resolve, a group of wicked villains who's sole objective was to bring the world into an state of complete and absolute despair. Two of their many agents tried to poison the water of her hometown so that everyone would be infected with a disease to only which they had the antidote, making them beg for their lives. Gine found out their plans after had tested out in a lake which she frequented to be alone. She followed their scent and confronted both, their evil intentions having sparked her heroism, a trademark from her clan. Having taken back her arms, Gine dispose of them both with her uncanny skills. With its agonizing breath, one of them uttered these words: "Y-You... a-ain't a tracer... y-you must..be one of those...bastards from... KATE..." Gine was already familiar with the tracers, many of her classmates were members of that group. However, she had never heard of the group KATE, at least not after she graduated. Her intuitive mind made her have a good ideas as to who they were, and she decided to travel around, with the intention of meeting with an old friend...
