Description Another flag for China that I made based on the Five Races Under One Union flag of the early republic and Yuan Shikai's empire, incorporating the fu pattern, one of the "Twelve Symbols of Sovereignty" represented on the early post imperial coat of arms.

Not really a serious try at a flag acceptable to Chinese people today, it's meant for a project of mine that may or may not ever see the light of D/A, but uploading is addictive and I really like how this thing turned out.

The specific FRUOU Flag I based it on: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Yua…
The early Coat of Arms I based it on: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rep…

I love your designs for their simplicity and boldness. All of them.

Isn't the character on the coat of arms supposed to be 王? Splitting it up is a bit confusing.

It looks like a 黻文 in China.

I have no idea. My information might be totally unreliable on this. All I know is that the symbol is on the coat of arms.
