Well, it's about one years of ponies for me, at least on deviantart, which is also the first time I ever touched a tablet.At that occasion I created an abomination of a drawing
So what has happened during that year? Well, with a keen eye for detail you might spot slight minor differences.
I originally wanted to draw the same pose for this occasion but as you might have noticed I wasn't able to be very active lately (This Pinkie is part of a different picture). That's due to time issues and also I have a lot of half finished drawings and new ones that I need to finish so at some point there will be many in a quite fast succession and maybe some news.
On a side note, Pinkie failed to create that portal at EVNW {link}

DeathPwny. You are incredible. I have never seen this much improvement been done. How the characters look, their expressions, poses, perspectives, everything. DeathPwny. Listen to me. This is amazing and you should feel proud over what you've done and you should be proud over what you WILL do in the future. Magic, science, sugar, whatever that keeps you going, KEEP doing it(unless it's drugs. don'tdodrugskids). This is really amazing.

I think the only thing you improved on a year was the shawo effects and a lot more of course but I believe that your style is almost the same, just a bit better
