Description "The one who gets its heart stolen by the wood nymph, will never see it again."
- Viktor Rydberg (1828 - 1895)

The Hulder is one of several wardens of nature in scandinavian folklore alongside the Mermaids and Vaettir.
The thing that distinguishes a Hulder is that her back is hollowed out like an old tree trunk.
The Hulder is often a benign creature in the tales, and will bestow blessings on you as long as you show her respect, but those who fail to do so will find themselves cursed.

Wow. Great use of textures and filters. This has a digital painting quality, and as a result everything blends very well.

Thank you!
I'm trying to make an effort to make my manips more "well blended" nowadays than I did before.
Back in the day I would pretty much just cut and paste photos together and call it a day, so I'm glad that my improvement shows.
Practice makes perfect!
