You hunt down the talented and the strong-willed.
You break them or sacrifice them.
You lie to your citizens and wage war on those who dare speak out.
You assume guilt and execute millions on a whim.
You crush your own citizens for fear that they might aid the Enemy.
Humanity suffers because of humanity.
No matter how hard you fight, that will never change.
The horsemen are simply here to make sure the process goes on.”

In the modern age, the four horsemen work in more devious ways than in ancient times. Scheming behind the curtains instead of openly marching their armies across the lands.

Looking at the way the horsemen behave, one might believe that they operate at random, carrying out their own little schemes at their own will. This could not be farther from the truth, in the darkest of shadows there is a greater force at work, steering the horsemen without their knowledge. Never showing itself, but still a presence to be felt. A presence as old as the universe itself. The very essence of time manifest. It has been given many names throughout history, Enlil, Ennead, Ba'al, Kumarbi, Indra, Odin, Brahman, Yaweh... the list goes on. Now walking the earth as Horatio Chronus, posing as a human, it uses its total control of causality to ensure that humanity never becomes stagnant in their development. To achieve this, it created a very complex problem for both itself and humanity, it created the four horsemen. In the modern world, THE REVELATION INITIATIVE keep tabs on both humans and the horsemen. Keeping their need to ever evolve in all aspects a priority. Seeing earth as its own personal ant farm, keeping the boredom away...
