Description The use of gmo products is not ready for selling on market shelves, there haven't been enough tests to prove they are safe, the tests on animals indicated they can lead to new diseases and health issues, and production is loosely regulated.

GMO products haven't been extensively tested to be safe for the environment or even human consumption.
The use of GMO products can lead to new allergies and diseases. In the human body, it takes enzymes to break down food and some people can lack these or they might not exist in the first place meaning the modification of food may cause unseen allergies and intolerance's due to humans not having the right enzymes to break down the new molecular structure of some foods.
loose regulation of gmo production

Genetically modified organisms are not as regulated as the other foods on the market today. Until they realize there is as much growing risk for gmo than everyday beef processing to say then who know's what is slipping into the mixture of chemicals added to improve length of life and better production rates.

If all these aspects of GMO are better researched and approved by the scrutney of the FDA then I will happily say that GMO is okay and would recommend it as an everyday food. As you can see gmo products are not yet ready for human consumption and sale on market shelves because The use of gmo products is not ready for selling on market shelves, there haven't been enough tests to prove they are safe, the tests on animals indicated they can lead to new diseases and health issues, and production needs to be better regulated.
