I've got a magnifing filter that I use. This was on f5.6. The higher the f the more grain you will get. Also you need a very quick shutter speed. I think I'm just lucky with a lot of mine. This was actually growing in an old derelict car park we'd gone into for Paul to get some grafiti. It was quite windy and it was a bee I was trying to capture. This is one of him [link]
Knowing me I probably had all my settings on auto and just my focus on manual

I guess its just all trial and error......im just trying to go the fast way around and picking your brain. You know more than me because im a auto girl..

I only really learned what little I know Edie when I went on honeymoon. As I was using my Sony camera every day there were things I picked up and things started to fit in place. Now I'm not using it so often I've started forgetting things.
