Description
This popped up growing in one of my tubs. As usual I placed the tub in front of my hedge to encourage a darker background for the photograph. You can still see raindrops on the petals and leaves.I don't think it's a Hyacinth as it doesn't have any scent. So I haven't a clue where it's come from

Now I hope you can help me with a bit of gossip. There is supposed to be a big scandal going on here regarding a celebrity couple having affairs. They've gone to the high court and had a gagging order on the press over here but their names have been published in America. Any idea who it is?

It appears to be Elton John's husband David Furnish and allegations he had unprotected sex with a businessman named Daniel Laurence and some allegations of some kind of threesome several years ago.. . .That's all I could find

Yes bless her. Annie Leibovitz has taken 3 beautiful photos of her. My favourite is where she is sitting with her great grandchildren and William's two children. I hope I live to see the end of her reign and the start of Will and Kate's. I don't think Charles will accept the crown. If he does I don't think he will have a coronation ceremony as he knows that would cost the country too much. The coronation of Will and Kate on the other hand would actually make money for this country as there would be so much world wide interest. I look at them and I see Elizabeth and Philip all over again. I get all emotional.

yea.. they';re a lovely young couple and seem so down to earth and real. I don't think Charles will accept it either.. Camilla isn't all that well liked. I remember when Elizabeth was crowned.. I was 8 years old.

I retired at 66 .. over here that's full retirement age when you can collect the full Social Security amount.. some born after me have to wait until 67

They've changed it here. It used to be 60 for women and 65 for men. It's now 65 for women and 70 or 75 for men. I ask you... how many men will still be able to do a heavy job at 70???? and certainly not 75. I was lucky that it would only be after a certain birth date. I still couldn't retire officially until I was 62 and 10months though.

Not many I know.... there likely won't even BE a retirement program by the time the current generation reaches our age...
