Wow that is truly a beautiful place! I feel home in these environments too and I can definitely see where your inspiration comes from. Maybe that's what makes your landscape art so real and feel immense. Where in Alaska do you actually live? I've never been there, but I still really wish to travel around in Alaska.

I live in the area known as the Panhandle, aka SE Alaska. 
I love my mountains.  Traveling  Lynn Canal on one of the ferries especially during the spring and summer is an absolute delight.  I couldn't take photos fast enough, and then, I ran out of space on my camera. 
You decide to travel, take the boat up, especially through the Inside Passage.  (look it up)  Make sure you bring lots of memory cards for your camera.  And rain gear.  SE Alaska is called rain country.

Yeah I see- based on the map and on pictures it looks very beautiful! Definitely worth visiting and I think it's a good start for exploring the beauty of Alaska. And yeah based on where I live in Norway I can indeed say that one needs proper rain cloths. Especially in summer...
Your art indeed show your love for mountains very well - and with good reason. They are astonishing and very inspiring O.O.

Well, I for one sure as Hell won't set foot in no dragon infested, vampire hosting, and otherworldly welcoming habitat!
So where exactly IS this place, that I make sure to put a huge red cross upon it!
