Description April in the mountains can be a real bear sometimes.

I discovered something...everytime I attempt blue sky, the clouds roll in.

it's spectacular, at first I thought that it's a huge wave on the left (in a good way). Really like the rays of light too Β

Yet again, you make me want to buy a house for you to cover the interior walls with murals. I love the scale and perspective.

Well, thanks, I'm getting to where it's working better...the perspective I mean.

Oh, you rock at perspective. I should take more lessons from your work. In fact, I think I need to get out of my horrible rut and do a trade with you if you're not too busy. You always challenge me in the best way.

If you are not mastering clouds... who is !!!?
Amazing, as usual...

You know, art is like that. It doesnΒ΄t belong to us... we belong to it! ItΒ΄s like writing. You can start what YOU want, but characters soon take over and write their own story !!

Thank you, and yes, I think I have to agree...we belong to art.
Thanks for the fave, too.

Nice piece. Something about the bear though. The scale looks off

Oh thank you. Yeah, I need to fix it...actually likely do something more to the foreground. But I appreciate your comment.

It looks like a fanstastic wave out at sea. Very cool. Is the bear too high contrast for its immediate surroundings?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DeborahLewis In reply to MichaelPrescott [2009-10-12 16:20:34 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, dang it. I did tone it down, but I think I need to bring more contrast to the foreground. Thanks for pointing it out.
