Okay, here are the three images together. I hope you like it. I believe I have put in a total of 20 hours trying to put this picture together. So many false starts and computer freezes. Yesterday I couldn't get my distance lighting to work at all and was working blind. I have a render from that, but decided to scrap it and start from scratch again this morning. I put in total of 4.5 hours just today so maybe that estimate of 20 hours is a little low. The zombies face is a little obscured, but that is because he is crawling in her shadow as a good zombie should.Rendered in DAZ with lotza post work in photoshop.

Thanks so much! I put alot of work into that one. First made the background and then the two characters and combined all three. There was also alot of post work that went in to the finished picture. It does pay off to take your time

Great shot! I love the movement of the hair and shirt! What a great shirt to use! Where'd you get it? I also like the the 'convergence lines' that draw attention and suggest power and movement. It would look batter on a hand or eyes instead of her magic gun.

No she doesn't really have a magic gun.... I just happened to be in the center of the picture and that is one of the failings of that particular filter. The blouse is from Renderosity - made by Awful Soul and the out fit that this is part of is called Silver Feather. His clothing has alot of movement morphs. That's why I like it so much.

Awful Soul does some good work! I'll have to check out his stuff. I've got some of his freebies from Renderosity.
With filtration problems, try rendering godawfully big and then crop so that what you want centered IS centered. Apply filter, then crop or resize to fit. ^__^ Works for me.

They do great work. a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. The added morphs are wonderful.

I was thinking about that. I just may have to do it the blood I mean. Just curious, how do you see her different? I tried alot of different morphs on her and this one came the closest. I had the perfect hair, but it only works in poser... bahhh. I'm working on Frost now. Bit sure if I can pull him off right.... Galen might be easier. Dunno.... So Many cool characters to choose from!

I see her as this almost porcelin skinned, super black straight hair, lil spitfire. I'm gonna have to sit down and get her outta my head one of these days, cuz lord knows she's in there lol. Merry too. And you're right, there are sooo many of her chars to choose from that I would love to do, oh and I wouldn't mind making some art of them either

Oh girl! Don't I know what you mean! I guess I will just have to settle for doing the art. I don't think they actually make them like that, cuz if they did, ordinary men would be S.O.L. Well we're close, I see her as a short latin spitfire with curly thick black hair....*chuckling* This image doesn't do her justice... but I intend to work on it in future renders.

Gotta remember, she's only have Mexican tho. She's always complains about people telling her she looks like a lil porcelin doll cuz she's so pale. So while she's got that dark latin hair, she wouldn't have the complexion. I think you may be right on the curly hair tho. It's been a couple months since the last reading. *gasps then sighs* And dammit I only have one more book here to read from the list Mistress Wit gave me to start on for authors. Time to hit Amazon again!

You're absolutely right! I do remember them calling her that now that you mention it. I'm going to have to try doing her again. She is a very interesting character and she has soooooo many different looks when you really thing about it.... seductress, innocent, ruthless, cuddly....
I got all of the laurell Hamilton books at once and sat down and read all of the Anita Blake, then read all of the Merry Gentry. I would say it is time for me to start all over again on the Anita Blake so that I will be ready for the new book in February... all up to speed so to speak....*grinz* It's an addiction I think.

I got the first four in a box set to see if I'd like them. Consumed them in as many days and hopped on Amazon to order the rest. After I poured thru those, went on to read Merry's. Started all over again and did them all again. I don't think she realizes how much she's torturing us making us wait! *cries*

Thanks for the feedback! I will have to go back and reread the first couple of books. I thought that she didn't become the best until several books into the series. It was the natural ability and the potential that attracted all the wrong kind of attention.
And of course there is artistic license....*grinz* I can't wait until the next novel comes out!
