That was well stated. I currently use photoshop and have trouble making colors mesh together, they come out fairly muddy. I ll have to show u another time lol

oh thank you so much! haha this was honestly an experiment for me too! I started with a full purple background, and then put this all on one layer 
Also, if you have GIMP (which i used) or painttool sai, those are really good programs that can let you do this technique really easily!
