On the side note, I was surprised to hear(from a little cousin) "what a rip-off!"
I was staring with mixed emotions and finally calmed down to ask her "why?" Then she replied "It should be like 2$". I was like hmm....when you work, do you want to get 1$ an hour or 10$ an hour or more? Would you work 10 years to get idk, 50K when you can make that much in 1 year? She paused...then she said"Oh well I didn't think of it that way."

-Still not sure I convinced her though so I'm going to talk to her about it next time.
-I had mixed emotions because when I was in elementary, expensive things would go by dollars, then less expensive things would go in pennies. I started selling my art 50C to 2-3$ for colored characters like Pokemans,Mario, Disney, etc.
Ah.....the world of little kids.

--Now that I am studying to become a concept artist for the gaming industry-well....now lets say its grown a bit. My range being 40,000-70,000$ a year. Not too shabby. :>
(This is just the "financial part of art" because indeed, art can be priceless, but that would be the "heart part of art"-it ryhmes!-but not our topic in question).

What is art worth....to you?
