I drew this in a former friend's sketchbook. She's probably destroyed the original, though...I really should have gone with regular camo instead of pink camo for her shirt, and some of the shading turned out weird in the scan. Oh well...

Hey, great work on a difficult perspective! Her form and figure are solid, and there's lots of little details to catch the eye. The mesh on her top adds a nice effect, and hangs well about her. The shading you've applied is really convincing, and the colors are nice and clean. It's good art, I think.

This character stuck out in my inbox and I just LOVE her! She's so funky and cool. I really love the design you gave her. That mohawk is a great touch too.
Maybe she's a lead singer in a band? Or maybe she plays in a band. %D I keep thinking of a rock or punk band of some kind when I look at her.

Weird thing. Me, Rae, Ben, and Krystle were all talking about that today, and I think it was Rae that said my art looked like some kind of cross between the old 80's cartoon style and anime. So you just might have something there. And considering how much I love me some 80's cartoons, it's probably true.

This is just downright cool.
She reminds me of the people I see while sitting at a posh cafe on Denman st. in Vancouver. All university educated, but very open as to modern city styles.
