Description The other day I went to decompress a bit in the drawing studios and they were doing short 30 seconds poses.
Our model is very dynamic when we give her super short poses so it always looks like she is dancing.

These are quick gestures done with brushpen. Mind you the model is not naked but a gesture is a special form of drawing where you are supposed to capture the whole motion, the rhythm of the figure, the full body from head to toes with just a few strokes and kinda still tell a story along the way.

Eventually what happened is that the lady also rotates, so that everybody gets to draw different angles... and so when I managed to place all the drawing one next to the other I realized she was dancing.
And that was beautiful.

My favorite part of figure drawing class is always the short gesture drawings. They're so dynamic and fun! These are wonderful!

This is so amazing, I love the feeling, the motion and the dynamism this conveys (I love people dancing, even if she wasn't realy dancing)
