OTP : Layla and Nabu~

These two have been through so much and in such little time. From when they met, to Layla giving Nabu a chance, to finding out who he really was and that they were engaged, to starting a real relationship with each other and caring about and loving each other. These two deserved more and definitely a happy ending. It’s unfortunate that they never got it in the end because of Nabu’s passing. But I like to think that he is in a coma after the drained energy he had after sacrificing himself to save the earth fairies and the Winx themselves. He is a hero and darn it, these two deserved better.

Most Liked : Stella and Brandon~
Stella and Brandon have been together for so long and still manage to care and love each other so much. Despite their different social standings, neither of them cared for it and have been together ever since the first season. Brandon’s love for Stella had been proven to be pure when Stella was turned into a monster, and it was the act of true love that turned her back to her normal self. They’ve even had some arguments/disagreements, (like every normal couple does) yet still end up coming back to each other, making up for it and coming out better than ever. They really are a great couple.

Most Neutral : Bloom and Sky~
They’ve went through so many obstacles and still managed to stay together no matter what. They clearly care and love each other, and have proven that no matter what happens, they’ll always find their way back to each other. But of course, lately there has only been so much of them that I can take before I can’t anymore. This starting to happen ever since season 5 where Bloom had been portrayed as such a needy character, which is so unlike her, and pretty much acted like an obsessive girlfriend most of the time. I get it, Bloom’s afraid Diaspro will try something again like she did in the third season to try and steal Sky away from her. So I’m not too annoyed with her actions because they were justified. I just wish that this couple would stop being the centre of attention and give the other couples a chance.

Most Disliked : Layla and Nex~
Okay, I never liked Layla and Nex together at all. It was always going to be Nabu for me. So to suddenly have Layla dating somebody else a year after Nabu’s death was really hard for me, I really wanted Nabu to come back and reunite with Layla. Clearly that didn’t happen though and instead we got this couple. Eh, at least it wasn’t Layla and Roy who ended up together. But it just doesn’t make sense to me that these two would end up dating so fast, they literally just met and all of a sudden they want to date? Them suddenly confessing and dating was just too sudden, and not realistic at all. It would have made sense if the two first got to know each other before they began anything. So yeah, their relationship is more like a joke to me than anything else.

NOTP : Roxy and Andy~
No, just no. These two were put together by fans because Andy is Bloom’s ex-boyfriend and was getting in between them. And since Roxy was around, these two have been shoved together. There really isn’t anything to say about them except that they would be much better off as friends.

Fluffy Pairing : Flora and Helia~
They are by far the cutest couple on the show. Both of them have so much in common since they come from Linphea, they’re pacifists, and are just the most mature of their respective groups. Helia has shown how much he cares for Flora through the art of romance, when he would give her love poems or those origami doves. He has always been so supportive of Flora and has complete trust in her powers, which always manages to build Flora’s self-confidence up many times. I wouldn’t say they’re peaceful individuals because they do have their moments, but even then they always manage to work it out and be closer than they were before.

Sexy Pairing : Musa and Darcy~
Okay, seriously I have always had an infatuation with these two. I really wish Winx Club wasn’t a kids show because I would have loved if their relationship was explored. Forget Riven, he can find somebody else! I’ve always pegged Darcy as a person who loves to play with men’s heads and manipulate them into doing her bidding. But actually dating a man without any evil intentions behind it like she did with Riven? Not a chance. I genuinely think she is most likely bisexual and if she was ever to settle down with somebody, it’s going to be with a female. And who better for her than Musa? I feel like these two could work so well together. They could have had this sexual tension between them that they would eventually give in to. I imagine Darcy tempting Musa to join her on the dark side rather than the other way round. Darcy being a seductress and Musa being an enchanting siren, no one would have any choice but to obey them. And of course these two would be the most intimate couple, having lots of moments to show their affection for each other behind closed doors~

Guilty Pleasure : Bloom and Valtor~
Honestly, if Bloom and Sky didn’t happen, I’d have loved for Bloom and Valtor to happen instead. The chemistry between these two along with the tension was enough to make me ship them. And of course, their powers are linked so who better to understand them than each other? I just love the thought of Valtor being interested in Bloom, not just because of the Dragon’s Flame, but because of the attraction he can’t help but feel for her and vice versa. There’s also the fact that they practically come from the same planet since he was created from the power that it’s origins lay in. I would have loved to see the kind of relationship these two would have, I don’t think it would be as dark as most people think it would be. Bloom is too strong and smart to be influenced to join the dark side. But I don’t think Valtor would be willing to completely join her in the light side either. Instead, they’d find a balance and would stick together, loving and caring for one another. I’m aware Valtor was created to destroy Bloom, but love always finds a way. These two would be just fine being happy together~

BrOTP : Sky and Brandon~
It’s known that Brandon and Sky have known each other the longest from the specialists, and are best friends. Brandon was hired to be a squire for Sky and protect him at all costs, and he has continuously proven that he can. Of course, Sky is capable of defending himself without Brandon’s help, but seeing as they have each other’s back anyway is enough to make me love their friendship. No doubt it was Sky’s idea to switch identities before attending Red Fountain, and the fact Brandon even went along with it proves his trust in him. Of course, it got them in a lot of trouble in the end and they were exposed, but the reason behind it was completely justified. Instead of Sky being captured by Yoshinoya, it would be Brandon instead, and if Yoshinoya was to ever find out that Brandon wasn’t Sky, he would be set free. And I have no doubt if that happened, Sky would immediately be on his way to save him regardless of who tries to stop him. There has never been a time when Brandon and Sky weren't looking out for one another or loyally sticking by each other’s side. It’s clear they are close and are best friends who care about each other. So if that’s not BrOTP material, I don’t know what is.

Just Friends : Diaspro and Sky~

*Sighs loudly* These two need to either leave each other the hell alone or learn to be friends. Seriously, I get that Diaspro and Sky were engaged before Sky met Bloom, but there was only ever a one-sided attraction between them. I’m sure Sky cared about Diaspro since they were childhood friends, but that doesn’t mean he could have developed feelings for her or something. It is known that they were put in an arranged marriage by their parents. And I get why Diaspro would hate Bloom for coming in between them and ‘stealing’ Sky away from her. But I feel like Sky truly loved Diaspro in a platonic way, while Diaspro loved Sky in a more than friends way. I’m aware it’s near impossible to have male-female friendships without any attraction forming at least in one side of the friendship, so I feel kinda bad for her that he ended up picking someone else. But instead of moving on like any sane person would, she chose to make a deal with a devil and spell Sky. And then when that backfired on her because of Stella’s pixie dust, she didn’t give up. In fact, she came back and eventually became the king’s liaison where she abused her power to come in between Bloom and Sky. Then there was also her making a deal with the Trix and almost killing Bloom. Seriously, these two would be better off leaving each other alone or learning to forgive and forget if Diaspro chooses to genuinely move on and try and redeem herself.

Most Overrated : Bloom and Sky~
These two deserve a break, honestly. They have been through so many obstacles/hardship in mostly every season already. But seriously, I’m not too fond of them and would much rather the drama between them stops so that any other pairing would get the chance to have the spotlight instead. I mean, I guess it was okay in the first three or four seasons, but season five’s drama was just pushing it. Why did the writers feel the need to have Sky losing his memory as the main plot line? It just wasn’t necessary. And then the whole argument in season 7 with the annoying talking unicorn getting in Sky’s business about Bloom, just what is the point there? We already know Bloom and Sky are happy together and in love, they’ve already been though enough drama so why the need to keep it going? These writers seriously need to learn to be fair and give all the couples their chance in the spotlight.

Most Underrated : Tecna and Timmy~
I honestly feel like these two don’t get enough attention, it hurts. These two are portrayed as two highly intelligent and adorable nerds who are too shy and awkward to communicate with one another face-to-face. Instead, they relied on technology to send their messages across. So it was really nice when in season 4 they upgraded to kissing and supporting, then finally put down their devices and went on a date in season 5 and had a real conversation with each other. Lets also not forget they came a long way from being shy to being affectionate in public, it’s adorable! Timmy even finally met Tecna’s parents and had their approval when he showed off his tech-skills. What a way to win your SO’s parents’ approval. I’d also like to mention that they’ve only ever had one fight with each other in all the seasons they’ve been together. This most likely being because they haven’t been getting enough attention, but despite that they’re clearly meant to be.
