During our trip last year , one of our anticipated highlights was to view the might falls of Dynjandi in the westfjords. Sadly, as we were driving up past Bildudalur, the roads were covered in snow and horizontal precipitation . I didn't want to chance getting stuck in a blizzard so we turned back after two attempts. As we were due in Stykkisholmur that night, we decided to take a long drive around where every so often, falls like this would appear out of the blue! So this was our Dynjandi replacement for the day! Albeit by the roadside in the middle of what seemed like nowhere.
