Moriaki (male, 27, brown hair, blue eyes, OIT-048)

Moriaki arrived at the Ohana Islands at the insistence of his company's human resources department. The workaholic young accountant had never taken a break in all the years he'd been there and it was starting to show. Small errors, true, but his twitching and unblinking gaze was starting to creep out his fellow workmates and their clients. Forced on a compulsory holiday, the brunette resigned himself to simply relaxing and soaking up the sun and surf. Unaccustomed to the local cocktails though, he managed to get himself involved in the battle tournament after trying to impress a girl at the bar who 'only dated the best trainers'.

History and Personality...

Your typical nerdy child at school, Moriaki got interested in pokemon after failing to qualify for the chess club finals. He managed to do somewhat better with them and even managed to catch an Absol and Gastly. Unfortunately this made his classmates dub him 'creepy' as well as 'nerdy'. It was no real surprise when he grew up and decided to go into accounting. He was a stern and serious individual, the logic of numbers appealed to him. And the dull and humorless demenor of an accountant seemed to suit him to a tee. No one wants a joker to be responsible for their money after all. He flourished in this environment, being promoted a number of times even in his short carreer, and several of his pokemon were received as gifts from his boss and overly satisfied clients. If only his boss would remember his name and stop calling him Moriarty.

Of course you can't take the geek out of the nerd and Moriaki still enjoys his sci-fi and fantasy. A proud Trekkie and valued member of a local D&D club, he hopes these skills will help him in the Ohana Islands Tournament. Where no trainer has gone before!
