My neighbor's new draft. He used to own two black perchrons but one got hit by a train and the other one died last year at the age of 34. It so happened that 2 wks before it died I had taken a photo of it and given it to him. He is the sweetest, old man you'd ever meet. He actually makes hay with his horses instead of using a tractor. It's beautiful to watch. He never married, so his horses are his children. He certainly got a beauty this time. I think it's a roan perchron crossed with a tb because it's on the lighter side to be a pure perchron. But I'll stop and ask for sure.
