I love working with paint like this. I did a painting once with this concept as it being rain and the rain being acid. It's fun and I love the way the colors bleed together. In your case I really like that certain areas are washed out more than others. I think it adds more dimension to the piece.

Love it, you should make your scans larger so others can use them as stock for backgrounds.
