Description
When I got the news of having the awesome Colorscapeart from the MLPArena as my partner for the G4 Fashion Style Swap, I knew I had to do something extra special
.She had as her theme choices "masquerade", "space" and "butterflies, so I decided to put all of them together
. Meet Nabi'la, the butterfly nebula pony! (Nabi = butterfly in korean, so it fit perfectly!)She started as a Rainbow Dash who got her wings cut off. Got a sculpted dress (my first sculpted dress ever!) with Apoxie. Repainted with acrylics and rehaired with a mix of Dollyhair's Pacific Ocean, Black Magick, Sunlight, Sea Nymph and a light pink I can't recall at the moment xD. The wings and mask are made of thin acrylic glass (the same material I used for Chrysalis' wings). Tried to mimic the real butterfly nebula with glass paint, and then painted the back of them with dark blue. The mask stays in place with magnets (one magnet on the mask, another that goes inside the pony's sinus
).This pony was a loooot of experimenting and fun to do
