Having had a good look through your gallery kept coming back to this one. The silhouetted hand in itself is a wonderful capture. Both my wife and I smoke and this, I believe, is a female hand? Without going into the realms of the anti-smoking brigade, this shot has a very powerful impact. It immediately made me think of my wife, (seen her many times holding a cigarette in this way), and the poisons we are inhaling into ourselves, but on the other hand will not drink out of date milk!!!
Having got that out of the way!! I agree with angrboda 555 it does have an element of the past, and for me it's the 1930's for some reason. I am finding more and more that I am drawn to this type of conceptual art, although not my area of expertise, so forgive me that I cannot comment on the technical abilities needed to create this shot. However, all areas help us develop and thank you so much for sharing a thought provoking, inspirational and educational shot.

I like the the fact that it's a silhouette of the hand... gives it that feeling of it being in the past very lovely
