[Name] took a deep breath, turning around and preparing to throw the bouquet in her hands. This was the one time she was going to be able to toss the bouquet at her own wedding, so she couldn't screw it up.

"Don't be nervous, [Name], or you'll throw it too far back!" Hinata said, patting her shoulder.

Not like that would calm me down... [Name] thought as she let out that deep breath, and tossed the flowers behind her.

She turned around as everyone gasped, and she could see the bouquet falling down behind the line of people.

Crap.

That’s what you get for skipping gym class all these years, [Name] chided to herself.

She winced and looked away, waiting for the sound of the bouquet hitting the marble floor.

But it never came. Instead, a sharp, excited yell pierced through the silence. "I got it!”

She glanced upwards to see a grinning Noya on the ground, arms outstretched, and the bouquet of roses flying through the air, in the direction of the crowd.

What??

Everyone stood still, confused, as their gazes followed the bouquet across the room.

[Name] felt something move, and turned to see Kageyama almost instinctively adjust his footing ever so slightly to face the bouquet which hurled towards him.

"Kageyama!" Hinata shouted beside her, almost making her deaf, and everyone looked to the groom, shocked by the abrupt shout.

[Name]'s gaze shifted back to Kageyama just as the bouquet hit his hands perfectly, and he tossed it diagonally in her direction. Or, more accurately, a little to her right.

The body of warmth disappeared from her side. Before [Name] knew it, Hinata was in the air. Something shot across the room faster than her eyes could follow.

Everyone looked at the bouquet as it slammed onto the ground, petals falling off.

The young ladies who had lined up to catch the bouquet looked wide-eyed at the pile of crumpled stems and petals on the ground.

“Hinata, nice kill! Noya, nice receive!” Tanaka punched the air.

Laughter broke out among the volleyballers, and both the groom and his best man were too busy giving each other high-fives to see [Name] deadpanning from where she stood.

Hinata's bronze eyes widened in realization, and he turned to look at her. [Name] only gave him a weak thumbs up.
