Found an old tv in the basement, thought I’d use it for something, and…. The shot didn’t turn out the way I want it, especially this one, this one was miss taken by accident and chopped off my head, but…… I thought I gave it a shot, nothing worked out, but i thought what I can make out of what I have, and then later I’ll try it againSo this is what I came up with, a small manipulation, only changed a bit of the colours, and smoothed it out. So since it has that dark feeling to it, I’m putting it under horror and macabre.
But yeah, later I’ll try this piece again, if you understand by the title, it’s more or less a play on words, a t.v. turned on, and a girl… and just think about it, you get the picture.
*note* haha ok by all the comments on this, IT IS THE WAY I WANTED IT TO BE, i think this shot turned out great. i'm just saying what I wanted to do was completely different from this, and this was one of the accident pictures that was really the only good one, and it was the one i didn't even want, but the bad one turned out good, and i liked the little pieces i changed in it and yeah... i like it!

I'm thinking I'm going to +devstalk you, because your photos are very nice to look at, for one reason or another. You make nice use of bold colors, but from what I've seen, also complement them with subdued ones. You yourself are an awesome model (if I-ah may-ah say-ah so-ah myself), and are one of those people that can Pose. Posing, whether conscious or not is one of the most important things that I feel make a portrait that much more dramatic and real.

thanks for the comment dear! oh and the shirt, it's accually a dress. it's a short button up black pin stripped dress with a colar on it, like a long button up shirt, most of the time i where it with cut off pants

haha it's not that i screwed up, it's that all the other shots or what i was trying to do didn't turn out, and this shot, which wasn't suppose to be taken, cut off my head, and it worked!

first off *cream*...Great shot. Lighting is awesome w/ the brightness fading to the right. Composition is perfect, having the head left out gives it more meaning. A deeper feel almost. Plus the statement is superb, its hard to merge 2 meaning into one thing, and you have done it flawlessly.

i like it being all impersonal without your head in it. and it says more about sensual television shows than turning specifically you on to me. i like it. i think i shall fav it for my interpretation of a really kewl pic, rather than the original intent of a really good photographer. XD

i like it, even though your head is chopped off. i think the missing head adds more mystery to the shot, and i think if your face was in it that would draw the attention from the tv a bit too much. the way it is theres some really good light and dark balance, not too much white and not too much black. i really like this. infact i like it so much im going to fave it. awesome picture.

I agree with the whole no face concept, i have so many picture like that. Just, with what i was trying to go for i wanted the face, just didn't turn out, so i guess this mistake shot i took, with out the head worked well for me.
