SHORT DESCRIPTION
Kasane Omoi is a side character in My Hero Academia. She is the vice class representative and honor student of Class 3-C at U.A. High School.
However, due to her quirk' consequential emotionlessness, she isn't very popular with her classmates.
Unlike her peers in the hero course, her goal is to enter university and become a family physician.
In the series she is most often seen interacting with The Big 3.

Kasane's most notable trait is the lack of outwardly display of her emotions. Kasane was due to uncertain danger posed by her quirk, forced to conform her personality in regards to the latter. Through her childhood, she slowly started to exclude herself from events and things that would evoke any strong emotions in her. However, her anxiety pushed her to eventually deny herself even the smallest of emotional stimulation. Although she is now more expressive then before, she remains quite stoic and docile.
Even so, there is more to her personality than what is visible at first. Due to her keeping her feelings in check, Kasane is intelligent and of steady character; she approaches everyday life and problems with calm and calculation. Since than Kasane has been trying to show as little emotion as possible to prevent any discomfort to her or people around her. It was also because of this that she became more dependable on others' advice and opinions.
Inspired by her grandmothers work as a midwife, Kasane decided to become a family physician. Having achieved high grades all through junior and middle school, she applied for the entrance exam at U.A. high School. Although she passed the written exam with no problem, she passed the practical exam by accumulating just enough rescue points. Due to the type of her quirk and low score on practical exam, she was placed in the department of general studies.
Through her first year, Kasane excelled in many subjects. She thus began tutoring students from different departments, one of them being Mirio Togata. On his insistence they quickly became friends, while later introducing her to Nejire Hado and Tamaki Amajiki.

He lives together with his little sister in their family residence, however they rarely managed to see each other due to their busy schedules.
Chikara is, due to her quirk and it's emotional influence, very protective of his little sister. When he has time, he often talks and offers her emotional support.
Chikara also encourages his little sister to be more cheerful, however he never forces her to do so. Overall, the siblings share a close relationship.

Kasane's paternal grandmother.
Kokoro was a very loving grandmother. Kasane inherited her grandmother's quirk, over which usage the two bonded and reassured each other. While Kokoro was a classic Japanese lady who showed little emotion, she still encouraged Kasane to find a way in which she could live a happy life without hurting herself or others. To add, she was also proud of her granddaughter being a responsible girl. Kasane still holds her grandmother in high regards.

In addition, she felt very jealous of Mirio, as he represented all that she never could be; he was allowed to express himself thorough various and strong emotions, while still retaining an overall positive attitude. Even so, driven to his genuineness Kasane began to open herself up and they eventually became friend.

Nejire was introduced to Kasane in their second year, after becoming friends with Mirio. Kasane in Nejire share similar histories, excelling in a field and being shunned in their first year, so they formed a special bond. They see each other was very close friends, being able to talk about their deepest secrets. Similarly to Mirio, Kasane was at first jealous at Nejire's curious personality, but soon grew attached to her.

Kasane's close friend.
Like Nejire, Kasane and Tamaki were introduced to each other in their second year through Mirio. Due to similar, calm personalities Kasane and Tamaki get along greatly. They don't feel like they have to express themselves too grandly, which allows them to be as genuine as possible and have intricate conversations.
