(Originally rendered in 2014, before I started posting to DeviantArt. The original text has been preserved. Rendered in DS4 3Delight with no postwork.)Made this while I was still in a downer mood. And my PC is still bending under the strain of rendering these images, even after overclocking it. Time for a faster CPU methinks.
The telephoto effect is vaguely reminiscent of the promo photos for Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver. The title of this image is taken from the song "Atmosphere" by Joy Division .
