Description
I am not the person I lived to be, I'm not the person everyone loved anymore. I am alone, and nothing remembers me but a single flame.Yeah.
Just having one of those days.
Grandmother is in the hospital, Nova is mad at me, and I feel like the dumbest person on the face on the planet.
This was an attempt to get all the stuff out o my system, but that didnt work.

My days seem to be bad lately, I'm looking forward to the good day coming from all this. And thanks for the compliment on my art. This honestly took me less than an hour to do, but i had so much motivation it didnt even seem that long.

Beautiful picture, lovely composition and it does feel very emotional. Those wings are awesome, did you make them yourself using brushes? I do hope you're feeling a little better now

I did make them using brushes. I took the wing brush by and then changed the angle to make them fit the model better. I am feeling much better now, that you for the support and concern

That must have take ages! Did you have to build it up later by layer? My computer tends to die if I get past about 12 layers so I never dare try anything coplex with brushes.
I do hope your grandmother makes a very quick recovery

Actually, this piece took me less than an hour and only seven layers. All I did with the wings brush is readjust the dimesions a bit. I hate layers, so i try to condense as much as I can.
And my grandmother got to go home today.

I don't think I know how to use brushes, lol. Can you rotate them? When I use brushes I use a seperate layer for ever use of the brush and rotate them using ctrl T, this takes for ever!

What program are you using? I am on PS CS2. And in my program you can rotate them, you can even change their angle. And you dont have to use a seperate layer for every use of the brush. Every feather in this image is on the same layer because none of them overlap.

I can try.
You select free transform in the edit section and then hold, i think either shift or CTRL while moving around the mouse, or pen depending on if you have a tablet, and it should rotate it. Play around with it and you get some cool effects.

I've just discovered you can change the angle of the brush but it's difficult to find. You need to press F5 to bring up Brush presets and then select Brush Tip Shape. In this dialogue you ca change the angle of the brush.

I suspect it keeps the new parameters until the brush is reloaded. I haven't had a chance to check yes as my old computer died and took all my brushes and duwnloaded stock with it to silicon heaven!

Oh I've got a new one now but as the hard drive totally died on the other I lost everything on it. I've just got to find the will to search for and download all the stock and brushes again lol

Some yes but I suspect a lot no! It will just be a slow process of downloading thing again when I need them. If you don't backup regularly you should consider doing it, and don't forget the photoshop brushes which are in an odd location and not one I'd ever of thought of backing up

I have backups from back in 96.
But yeah, i dont think i have many brush back ups...
