Drawn in the middle of November when my computer failed on me. That was also when I lost my voice and my health was on the burner. Not a fun time for over a month. I didn't finish it. Something seemed... lacking. Reapproached this in early Jan. when I got sick again and had a broken toe. I finished. The last few months of 2OO8 and earlier this year were not the greatest time for me. The funny thing about losing my computer and getting all blah blah blah whatever moods was that I actually started drawing again. As a few people know, I stopped doing anything traditional seriously after my portfolio was "accidentally" thrown away by my high school teachers in mid 2OO7. I found that out the day I graduated and got a scholarship for my art. That hit me hard. After that, I lost all my passion for drawing and painting. That ended up being the key that kept me out of art schools and majoring in something I loved back then. However - that was actually was set me to drawing digitally for fun. Now I'm getting back to actually drawing with a pencil. I'm not quite on the same level skill wise as I used to be. Maybe with time though, I'll get there again.

I love my I-phone but I can not seem to get decent pics out of it. .____.

This is a personal piece and although based off a stock photo, has a lot of personal self interpretation and meaning to me. Reminds me a lot of how I was when I younger and what it could have escalated to. Thankful I'm no longer in those stages.
Hair was done the way it was on purpose.
One of the biggest issues I noticed after I finished was that my image did not match up with angle of the stock photo since I did change the hair on purpose. I'll say I'm not satisfied with the right side of her face for that reason. It looks flat and I know it. Her jaw doesn't quite line up with things. So many mistakes. I know.
No longer making any changes though. I'm aware of a lot of the mistakes, some on purpose, others that aren't. For that reason, please don't critique those aspects of it.

Larger then 22 x 26 though. I'll get to finding out soon.
