“Really? Me?” DarkPaw asked. “You think /I/ could be as great a Medicine Cat as /you/?” DarkPaw never thought she’d get a visit from Starclan so early in training. But she did. And it felt thrilling!
“Of course. Any cat with your kind of smarts could do anything they put their mind to.” Something dangerous glinted in the Starclan cat’s red-pupil’d eyes as she spoke. “Speaking of which, I need a favour.”
“Of course! Anything for Starclan!” DarkPaw cried, a joyful grin on her snout. She looked the Starclan cat up and down. This cat still had an open wound. Her mentor said that Cats are healed when passing to Starclan, so why did this one still bleed?
DarkPaw should of known that something was amiss as the Cat’s smile turned to a grin. “Just a little revenge is all I ask for. I believe you know a Warrior in your clan called LionbreathStar? He was a former ShadowClan leader, and kept his name.” The cat scoffed.
“You. . . Want me to kill him? How. . How do I do that?” DarkPaw asked, her voice quiet, for once.
“It’s not that hard. Stuff /these/ in some prey, and feed them to him.” The cat stepped aside, revealing a bush filled with bright red berries.
