Though obviously that didn't work out. When I first saw The Lion King I was a young kid. After the stampede, when Simba was curled up under Mufasa's arm and Scar walked up, I was really scared for Simba. I remember wanting Simba to play dead so Scar would leave him alone. It was only when I was an adult I realized that Scar had seen Mufasa save Simba so that wouldn't work. I wanted Simba to be safe somehow, so I didn't have reason on my mind at that time, haha.
