Just had to take a picture of all the finished bunnies that will go to ~Das-MimiI wanted to do a super creative-funny-picture but nothing came into my mind so I just took a photo of them cuddling in a row

Diese Baby Zwergkaninchen mit dem Löwenköpfchen sind ja nicht so mein Geschmack, ich find die eher hässlich, so wie Meerschweine. Aber ich finde diese normalen Kaninchen voll schön, die sehen zum Teil ganz elegant aus, der da ganz rechts ist ja mega mäßig!

Sieht einfach cool aus mit den langen Ohren und eben dieses normale Fell. Mir gefallen ja bei den meisten Tieren immer die Wildformen am besten und der sieht ja auch aus wie ein wildes Kaninchen bis auf die Farbe eben. Oder ein Feldhase als SM wäre auch cool

lol ja kenn ich auch einen der das so sieht, wegen den riesen augen wo man denkt die flutschen gleich raus. ich finde echte Präparate auch besser, aber soft Mounts scheinen hier wohl besser zu laufen.

Habe auch nur mit Softmounts angefangen, weil mich so viele danach gefragt haben. Eigentlich mache ich lieber Ganzkörperpräparate

No not really. I have a buzzard - that I mounted during my education - standing at the window of my living room and deer antlers hanging over my television... That's all. I am no collector.

That is different. Most of the other taxidermists I know have huge collections. I would like to see the buzzard!

Yeah I know. But I never felt like collecting anything. And I didn't even know this whole taxidermy-universe until I started my education a little more than 4 years ago.

That's not what I was thinking. Here in the states a buzzard is a different bird, like a vulture! You did a great job on the bird for a school piece.

This is a common buzzard (Buteo buteo) they live everywhere in Germany and you can see them very often.
