Well, I doodled this guy in my sketchbook yesterday around midnight, because i'm nocturnal like that, to work on hair being moved and held differently other than just flat and normal. It came out rather well, so i'm happy with the lineart to some extent. But his anatomy is funked so blah. I bothered colouring it because I wanted a new way -to- colour, because I was sick of doing it the way I usually do ^^ Its just an experiment done fairly quickly without much presicion, but I like the way it looks. Originally, this had wings too, but they looked horribly crap beyond my comprehension, so I edited them out before I coloured on computer.THE HAIR COLOUR CAME OUT CRAAAPP~ ^^
HOKAY. So, i've noticed that my monitor is really dark (And occasionally flashing purple and green, now) And things don't turn out properly, so, what I've done is colour it all, then darken it somewhat.
Does it look better to you guys? Or do I just suck? xD

to tell you the truth girls are harder to draw than boys...=_= that's why there are so many chicks in my gallery...i'm trying despritely to improve...but DANG you are so way better *gets the urge to fav your whole gallery* lol i'm in a wierd " i'ma gonna stalk you for an hour" mood..sorry XD i love how you color!

man his hair is pretty <3~! though the part near the base of his tail looks a little flat, because the brush strokes don't follow the movement/shape of the tail and just go in a straight diagonal line :3 the rest of the tail looks awesome though, it's just that one place <3 and like someone else said, there are a couple of spots on his side/back that are kinda rough and could use some blending.
the hair looks really good, and I'm so envious of the way you've coloured his abs! i find male forms really hard to colour D: i also like his pointy ear and horns XD *is a complete sucker for dragon/demon sort of people*

Hmm -inspects drawing- ooh, I see what you mean. I must've gotten slack or something there ^^' One of the main problems for me would be my monitor; it's very old and a lot darker than I would like; so when I colour things, they're a lot brighter than they should be. I darkened this one using photoshop, but I must've forgotten to go through and check for all the faults, rather just testing out the new painting style.
Hehe, his torso actually took less time to paint than I thought it would, though I did have to start over a couple of times. It is hard to colour, and draw ^^' But a while ago I couldn't draw males at all, so I practiced heaps and heaps - and now I can't draw females xD

yeah, my monitor tends to be a lot brighter than other people's so i see lots of little details in other people's stuff, and people complain that some of my things are too dark XD; but i know what you mean with that. yeah, a while ago I couldn't draw males at all, so now i've come to a sort of compromise by drawing overly pretty men and not so pretty women XD;; eh well.
