Ok. So at Ikkicon. We had a surprising amount of ancestors! GOOD TIMES.I was Condesce...and honestly it was so fun to be her, but kind of awkward too because I'm like...not Condesce-like at all. And I was loving on everyone awkwardly and I think everyone was really intimidated by my height and just me...but...yeah...asjkhdsajkdhsakjdhaskj
SO YEAH

was the beautiful Sufferer
and then we found two lovely Dolorosas!

No i found it but i couldnt find any ancestors or pre scratch i saw a ton more striders and egberts there....i did see a few more subjuggulators than i cared to see but yeah i honestly didnt see many others........

ah if only! most of the members of my group aren't in texas! Our Sufferer is in Japan, our Disciple is in California, and our Davesprite buddy is in NY. I'm the only texas chick and sadly I've retired most of my homestuck cosplay hahaha uvu
but I might be going to San Japan this year if college permits it. If you see a really sassy eridan with a magnificent cape then that will probably be me hehehe.

where did you get your zentai suit? im using a pvc catsuit for my otakon condese cosplay, and yours is one of the better ones that i have seen... and also one of the ones that looks more like what i'm planning on doing;;

Well I originally had the suit for a Celty cosplay from Durarara! and then I modified it. I bought the original suit (long sleeves and head and all) off of eBay...

I made them from craft paper! hahahaha! Simple enough. There's this decorative metallic gold craft paper you can buy at your local craft store!!! Just get some of that nonsense, and some glue/tape, and then VOILA! Lovely arm bands that stay on relatively well!!!
Though if you make armsocks for your cosplay instead of using ben nye, i would recommend gluing the bands to the sock!! IT'S MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE 38)

Well for the tiara i did a sketch and cut it out with like an exacto knife. and for the bands and stuff I prepped them into cylinders by like wearing them around my arms before the con and taping them around cylindrical THINGS.
And I bought like 4 squares of the stuff. I only used two squares because I'm crazy, but YEAH. And it does work on ankles really well. IT'S GOOD STUFF. For the tiara, btw, I just pinned it to my wig! :0 much easier than making an ACTUAL band!!!
Ben Nye is super affordable though!! I got my pots for 4.50 each!!! :0 at my costume store!!!
if you ever have time to sew armsocks I would try it out! IT'S EASY and reusable and SO NICE TO HAVE FOR EVERY TROLL COSPLAY ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET. o-o;;;

How much coverage does each little pot have? They don't look like they give much. And I've never sewn arm socks before, haha!

Oh, I can't remember the brand...I had some left over but it's at home. Trust me though, you'll know it when you see it. Like, one side is metallic, and the other side is like white cardstock. It's unmistakable. You got this. I got it at Hobby Lobby so you should be good. (look near scrapbooking...???)
You'd be surprised, missy!!! hahahaha each pot I can guarantee you does your face completely at LEAST 4 or 5 times. Maybe more. If you do the arms, I'd say you could get away with complete makeup with a pot. Like for me and my ancestor group (Sufferer, me, and Disciple) we bought one pot of ghoul grey and it was fine. We have some leftover!!
As long as you use that AND the setting powder AND the sealant spray you will be perfectly well off TRUSTME!!!

Well the whole ghoul grey kit would involve the pot, the sealant powder, and spray right? cause that's all you need i think. that's all I used and the paint stayed on literally all...day...

the spray is fantastic and you can use it for ANYTHING like formal dances too, cause your makeup will stay on for an eternity!!! :0
I wouldn't get a black pot for shading by the way!! I would get steel gray!!! That's what I used for contouring on my cheekbones in the pic!!! VERY NICE AND MUCH EASIER TO BLEND THAN BLACK HOLY GOSH.

as for the jewelry IT ISN'T ANYTHING SPECIAL AT ALL owo all it is is decorative metallic paper that i found at hobby lobby. you really can't go wrong with that stuff! ANND it's cheap AND all you have to do is tape/velcro it to yourself/your armsocks! ^o^

BOTH ARE FANTASTIC COSPLAYS TO BRING TO CONS. Condesce was really fun to be...but everyone was actually intimidated by me (and my height doesn't help especially with DEM HORNS) so i didn't get to make friends on that day lmao
