It was a late autumn night. I was sitting on my porch on the small wooden bench. I wore my favorite oversized sweater to protect my delicate skin from the chilly night air. I stared up at the moon as tiny snow flakes fell from the sky.

'I fall in love with the moon everynight.' I thought.

The moon is so bright and lovely in the cold and lonely night. How could anyone not appreciate its beauty? Just then I was disrupted from my thought by the door opening. Kurama stepped out into the crisp night air. Wearing his favorite brown cardigain. It suited him well. his red hair ruffled gently in the night breeze.

He began to make his way over to the bench I was sitting on with to mugs of hot chocolate in his hands. "It's a beautiful night, isn't?" He said as he sat down and handed me a mug. There was a gently smile on his face as he stared into the forest that surrounded our house.

Winter was approaching and the trees were now bare. Everything was dying, yet is so still so beautiful. I knew Kurama always had a love for the forest and all that inhabited it. That's one of the many reasons why I fell in love with him because I, too had a soft spot for the forest and her creatures.

Kurama wrapped one arm gently around my shoulder, pulling me close to his body. I took a sip of my hot chocolate before resting my head against him. A content sigh escaped my lips.

On nights like these no words needed to be said between the two of us. Simply enjoying each others complany was enough. I couldn't ask for a better lover than Kurama. Even if he was a demon. He was intelligent and kind hearted. Everything about the fox demon amazed me.

I glanced up at him and his bright green eyes caught mine. He gave me that heart melting smile of his and said "I love you and every little detail about you." he said firmly. "I am greatly that I am fortunate enought to have you in my life."

"I love you too" I said quitely while smiling back at him. He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on my lips before pulling away and returning his gaze to the night sky.

We just sat there for who knows how long gazing at the moon and the stars that decorated the sky, feeling blessed to have eachother and the wonderful autumn night.
