I know I'm not going to win but I think this is my besteffort so far anyway.

this is quite nice
i wish i had seen this a lot sooner and before the contest was over. pretty much the only crits i had were that the knight's pose looks a bit awkward, the anatomy seems to be a bit off, and maybe a few parts of the dragons wings could be smoothed out but the bit about the dragon is just personal taste i think.
for some reason i always seem to think of dragon's wings something like giant, thick, bat-like wings

no worries about doing dragon research 
a little research about human anatomy and placing yourself in the pose before you actualy go to draw it goes a long way with a little practice. then again reasearch on anything before you practice goes a long way. you're really doing very well already.

I too have an entry that features a dragon. And like you, I don't think I'll win. In mine I have an angel fighting a four headed dragon and it,s done in color stippling. How about a fav for a fav ? I'll add your "Red Dragon Philosophy to my favs, and you add my Arch Angel and the Dragon to yours.You can't miss it. It's the only color stippling ( color dots).

i like this, there is very little i would change. all i might change would be to raise/extend the wings a little further, and i would have St. George holding his sword in a low guard: elbow bent, sword tip rising to eye level. sorry to waffle on so, but you did say you would be glad for any criticism.

I'm not very good with anatomy and need practice. I don't know if the wings is going to take to much spece if the are bigger but it's worth a try. Thankyou.

be fair, its not exactly an easy thing to find, the anatomy of a dragon. i cant draw people at all, never mind dragons.

You are right, and it is the feeling in the painting I was mostly focused on. The only cure against bad anathomy is to practice on it.
