Eastern Illinois Railroad Co. 4541 waits just north of the interlocking at Metcalf, IL. A long line of CSX covered hoppers sits to the south for the ADM elevator in Oakland, IL.Although it doesn't look like it now, this was the Nickle Plate's mainline to St. Louis. Metcalf's depot sat on the northeast quadrant of the diamond.
