Buenos dias my art buddy, this be Cappy! Since you helped celebrate my milestone, you get one of my bandwidth-eating comments!
Dang it, why is your coloring so cool...you're holding a rainbow hostage, aren't you?! Those cotton clouds really do suck you in and gives off the holiday mood swimmingly. And the coloring of the girl is like a mix between traditional anime and awesome, as I've said I love what you're able to create and the more I look at it the more amazed I am at the finished product.
Random facts because I know everything:
I tell you what, I'm pretty sure women back in the day could eat steel and fart out nails; they're tough cookies. I remember seeing old drawings of women in corsets, and your anatomy is spot-on with what happens. I remember reading that it was so tight many women passed out from lack of air. It warped the structure of their ribcages and reshaped organs. Some stories talk about surgery to remove ribs to better fit into them...GRAAAH! Pssh, weaker sex indeed.
Not to worry, you've won Cappy's award for making comp coloring a talent. There really is something special in the way you draw your characters and in the way you bring them to life thru your coloring. When I become famous and make cartoons you're gonna be hired to do all official DVD art and merchandise. We're gonna make you the American Yoshitaka Amano! Except your characters don't look like they have permanent pinkeye.

Haha, you're so funny.
When I did this, back in 04', I was so happy with how the clouds came out. The girl I felt I could've done better on, but of course that was back when I was still struggling with skin shading. I think I've improved since then, I still struggle, but it's a little easier for me now.
I had used Google references for the corset look forgot to mention that so I knew that it was right. I mean, there are women that wear corsets and don't have pencil thin waists, but that's because they're rookies. j/k
I mostly made the waist really small to bring out the roundness of the pumpkin bottom. I felt that if I had made the waist bigger then I would have to make the pumpkin bigger....but I didn't want it to look like she was wearing a hot air balloon or a giant parade balloon. >_<
Oh crapola. I need to cut this short. I need to get to work. *le sigh
Oh well, this job is what's helping me keep my car, apartment, and pretty much everything else but my sanity. @_@

I like this picture ,damn the waist size, she reminds me of a girl I might at a funeral. We were all to busy looking at her rather than paying attention to the corpse.

The unique waist is what I like so much about this drawing. How else would her bottom half be pumpkin-like?
It has very pretty colors.
