Post act three, Violet opens up to Sierra a lot more about her life and what's actually happened to her in the past. Sierra knew Violet had some issues before but definitely didn't know how bad things were for her until the full truth comes out.

One night (maybe after she returns to universe Y for the first time?), she has a bit of a breakdown and Sierra helps her through it, like she did for Sierra in act two. It's cathartic for Violet to not have to hold things back and to finally be able to talk about what she's gone through.
