Oh god, this is depressing but beautiful (I'm just now getting teared up because of this and a particularly sad piece of music from David Tennant's last episode of Doctor Who from the scene where he regenerates). And a poem Wash from Firefly made up for his wife springs to mind: "Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now that she's all corpsefied and gross." It's nice because it detracts from the sadness. Somewhat.

Vale Decem is a poignant and beautiful piece. That poem is new. I like it a lot though. I made this listening to Generator^ Second Floor, by Freelance Whales, And Woke Up New, by The Mountain Goats. I am really glad you like this piece.

Not that Digital art isn't good or anything, but I just adore a beautiful, ACTUAL painting, it's so nice to see such work on here(especially in my current fandom obsession, lol)

NO really this is really stunning well done! Great job with getting the aquarelle (?) to do what you like; I know how hard it can be to work with water colours!
(I also liked that you used blue instead of black, it gives it more depth)
