Description Ojo Alamo formation in New Mexico, Maastrichtian. A male Tyrannosaurus ambushes a juvenile Alamosaurus. A Dinobellator pair end up getting too close and hop to safety. The old Ojoceratops watches on, unamused.

Mistakenly named “Alamotyrannus brinkmani”, it was proposed by Dr. Dalman in 2013 to be a Tyrannosaurid different from Tyrannosaurus rex. In 2019, according to an alleged leaked from a censored file by Sergey Krasovskiy, the name of this basal southern species is “Tyrannosaurus mcraensis”. It would have pre-dated Tyrannosaurus rex by 2 million years (Maastrichtian) and was separated by a mountainous “proto rockies” range between the North and South. It lived a more arid landscape than the Northern species. We take the Hell Creek formation for granted, once other places are looked into, the taxonomy of Tyrannosaurus could be more complicated than realized
