i went to the Harry Potter exhibition and it was amazing!one guy who worked there said " no food or drink, or photos"
but i HAD to take a picture of these two things, did i hurt anyone no? am i making a profit on this picture? NOPE! so if you love Harry Potter as much as i do, you'll appreciate the photo thats all.
sorry for the watermark, i had to stick it on there people like to steal my stuff.
the time-turner was seriously like and inch of glass aware from me! i seriously felt weak near it. it was so beautiful! the 3 replicas i have of the time-turner are awesome but they are not EXACT to the real thing. the real one was actually quite smaller than i thought and the whole thing in general was really skinny. i looked at it wondering how Emma didn't break it, it looked so fragile. The chain has a double catch on it, so the chain could be pulled out to be longer like in the movie.
Hermione's wand, ok i'm just gunna say that it's identical to the noble collection replica. thats all, its beautiful. ALSO i think the whole thing is made of medal. i saw Professor Lupins wand and his tip was silver sooooo it was medal. not sure if they all are but thats what im thinking

Hate to rain on your fire, but that's actually not the real time turner Emma wore. Emma watson was given the time-turner when they finished filming. but I'm glad that you got a photo of this part! I only managed to sneak a photo of Hermione's Yule Ball dress.

there were multiple time-turners made. =] i think 4 to be exact. and i know emma has hers, i was so happy she got to keep it.

the tour was only $25.00 per person!
it was great to see the props and sets and clothing. it
was like being in the film at some points, especially Hagrid's hut.

LOVE hermione's wand. I find it funny that even though it's clearly a BROWN both the replicas that i got from Noble Collection, and WWOHP (i know that N.C. makes them both) are GREEN >.> probably going to alter one of them to be completely movie canon

thats what i noticed too, however when i got my Hermione wand from N.C
it was when they 1st came out (i actually pre-ordered it) and mine is more green and brown, now they are not. LOL
it was GREAT to look at these things up close, her wand was actually ALOT darker than i thought it would be

I know! I got mine just recently and both of them are the exact same, even had the same mold defects in them (tip wasn't rounded and you could nearly see the metal rod in the tip, and there was a chip on the handle end that cuts into your palm) that I had to fix. >.> honestly its not that hard to change the paint color...... just SWITCH BOTTLES XD lol. I've also got the Alivan's version of her wand made of Teak Wood, a bit more thin than I expected, but I LOVE it!

Most of my wands have been gifts from friends, family, and role play group members. >.> If I could GET to my lathe I would be working on some new wands now..... but the new cabinets for the Kitchen are in my way. So right now it's hand-carving, and polymer clay.

Same Here! lol. I've got at least 12 wands in the works right now, some made from dowels, some branches, and some on the lathe, i'll upload pics as soon as i'm done with them.
