Well ... page 1, really.Anyway, 'tis t'other part of the Hanged Man illustrations for my Tarot book.
Basically, the Fool comes to the gallows and meets the Hanged Man who tells her that being a Fool isn't so bad. It just depends on your perspective.
But what does he know? He lives in a tree!
Again, photo-ref used. I couldn't get the perspective. I suck.

All of your tarot pieces are absolutely gorgeous - I'm in awe! It's a project I'm sure everyone has wanted to take on at one time or another. Personally, I never started ^-^' ... but I am blown away by the conceptual and technical aspect of every one of the cards, plus these other illustrations!
Your style in general is completely beautiful. The colours and textures, the way you draw people ... one day, I hope to have your skill and motivation.

It is a really tricky perspective and I don't think I would have been able to pull it off. Her left leg looks a little too long as some foreshortening would occur from that angle. It looks very beautiful and I love the colours and the strong sense of design in this, it really is very lovely.
