Speedpaint, or more of a quickly inked sketch. Just to caption a pose, a certain feeling, a moment.. quickly before the idea and mentioned moment passes away. The base is pen on paper, which shows through the thin layers of ink.The body and pose is somewhat inspired by antique statues.
And yes.. I could have laid more time on the shadow in the ground beneath him. Note to self.. A reupload some day when that´s fixed.

Thank you very much. Yes, sometimes it creates another, heavier impact when you hide the facial expressions.. plus, the body can say so much of its own.

Wow, thank you for those words! I´ve been drawing and painting since I could hold a pen, but for the last ten years I´ve been able to put down more time to develop techniques and really, really dive into the crafting. Much changed when I could afford better material compared to what I used as a kid and in school.

of course it was just some scribbles of cats dogs and girls
but when i first had my eye on anime i totally whipped out my pens
and papers and started drawing anime and practising poses and stuff

That´s a good way to practise movement, character interaction and anatomy.
